Startup Lady Association held the second workshop session of “HerRise 2026” on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Implemented as part of Shibuya Startup Support, Shibuya City’s startup support initiative, HerRise is designed for women entrepreneurs and aspiring founders. Through entrepreneurial mindset development, practical business learning, and meaningful peer connections, the program aims to support the continued growth of women entrepreneurs seeking to succeed on a global stage.

The second session focused on practical sales strategies, service design, and pricing approaches that enable entrepreneurs to attract clients consistently and build sustainable businesses.
Participants explored the idea that no matter how innovative a product or service may be, long-term growth depends on clearly communicating its value to customers.
Through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises, participants examined how to design services that customers genuinely want to buy, articulate their value propositions effectively, and develop pricing strategies that support long-term business growth.
The workshop provided participants with practical frameworks and actionable tools to strengthen their sales approach, refine their value proposition, and build businesses that customers choose again and again.

Tim Romero
(Founder, Disrupting Japan)
Tim Romero is host of the Disrupting Japan podcast and is deeply involved in Japan's startup community as an investor, founder, author and educator. Tim has founded several startups in Japan over the past 30 years, taught entrepreneurship and corporate innovation at New York University's Tokyo campus, led Google for Startups Japan, was a founding members a both JERA and TEPCO’s CVCs, and works with other Japanese enterprises on startup investment and innovation strategy.
Tsuyoshi Mitera
(Representative Director/Co-Founder, 3 Temple Circus)
Tsuyoshi is a professional in business development and technical coordination across LBE (Location-Based Entertainment), immersive spaces, and virtual production, he was appointed President of disguise Japan GK in 2021, driving the expansion of large-scale live events and cutting-edge visual production infrastructure in Japan. In July 2025, he founded 3 temple circus inc., designing next-generation immersive experiences from both a systems and creative perspective. Deeply versed in domestic and international ProAV market trends, he specializes in optimizing global technology developments for the Japanese market — providing end-to-end support from system design to solution implementation, and championing the paradigm shift in spatial production driven by AV over IP and AI.

About HerRise
HerRise is a hands-on workshop series designed to deliver practical learning that participants can immediately apply to their businesses.
Across six sessions, the program provides step-by-step support to help participants refine their ideas and develop them into viable, executable business plans. Beyond knowledge acquisition, the program emphasizes experiential learning, equipping participants with the skills needed to build and scale their ventures.
In 2025, the program welcomed over 170 participants, fostering a strong community and valuable opportunities for collaboration and learning among women entrepreneurs.
