The Startup Lady Association held STEP4 of “HerRise,” a hands-on training program organized by Shibuya City to support current and aspiring women entrepreneurs.

This session, themed “Investor Readiness: Understanding Investor Mindset and Enhancing Your Pitch,” featured guest speakers Kazuhide Hashida and Mariko Yazawa. They led participants through a practical workshop centered on investor perspectives and pitch development.

Startup Lady Announces Sponsorship of “TOKYO GLOBAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE” to Support Aspiring Student Entrepreneurs

Tokyo, Japan — Startup Lady (Head Office: Shinjuku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Moeko Suzuki) will  be sponsoring the international business competition “TOKYO GLOBAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE,” aimed at university and graduate students from both Japan and abroad. Hands-on Program for Women Entrepreneurs Aiming for Global Success — HerRise STEP3

― Workshop on “Media & PR Strategy” Featuring Chris Kirkland and Yuko Endo ―

The Startup Lady Association held STEP3 of HerRise, a training program organized by Shibuya City to empower current and aspiring female entrepreneurs.
This session’s theme was “Media & PR Strategy”, featuring guest speakers Chris Kirkland and Yuko Endo, in an interactive, practice-based workshop.

Go Global Hub held the 1st “Cross-Border Startup Match Salon,” connecting entrepreneurs and companies in Japan and worldwide.

The Startup Lady Association launched the “Go Global Hub,” a new platform for Japanese entrepreneurs and companies to drive innovation, collaboration, and exchange, by hosting the first “Cross-Border Startup Match Salon.”

For this inaugural session, Jordan Fisher, Co-founder of Zehitomo and Venture Partner at Antler, joined as a keynote speaker and led a hands-on program designed to foster co-creation.

We are pleased to announce that Moeko Suzuki, Representative Director of Startup Lady,spoke at the 2025 U.S.-Japan Sister Cities Summit, to be held from September 16–19, 2025, in Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture.

Ms. Suzuki took part in the breakout session of “Unlocking Opportunities: A U.S.-Japan Dialogue on Female Leadership & Innovation,” where she engaged in the dialogue around women’s leadership and innovation.
