Moeko Suzuki, Representative Director of Startup Lady Association, will speak at the session “The Reality of Women x Tech — Why Women’s Communities Matter More Than Ever”, taking place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at CIC Tokyo in Minato-ku, Tokyo.

This session is co-hosted by Startup Lady, which supports women entrepreneurs, and Women In Tech, an organization dedicated to advancing women’s participation and leadership in the technology sector.

The discussion will explore both the challenges and opportunities faced by working women, including the lack of role models and career interruptions caused by childbirth and childcare. Women active in the technology and startup ecosystems will share their personal experiences and insights, while discussing how to create environments where the next generation of women can pursue ambitious careers and entrepreneurial journeys with greater confidence.

Drawing on her experience supporting women entrepreneurs, Suzuki will share perspectives on the role of communities and startup ecosystems, as well as the importance of creating environments that enable women to continue taking on new challenges and pursuing long-term growth.
