The Go Global Hub Backstory
Since our inception in 2017, Startup Lady has supported the growth of entrepreneurs and startups both in Japan and overseas. Through our activities, we have identified that for many entrepreneurs, the major barriers to overseas business expansion are not only language skills but also a lack of understanding of industry structures and cultural backgrounds.
Conversely, entrepreneurs who have worked directly with global founders and supporters tend to achieve greater success in global expansion.
Based on this experience, we have launched the Go Global Hub to facilitate meaningful connections and collaborations among global entrepreneurs, investors, and Japanese founders in order to foster the creation of new ventures. Leveraging our expertise in accelerator and venture studio operations, we aim to build a Tokyo-based platform to develop entrepreneurs, investors, and companies that thrive through cross-border collaboration.
Going Forward
The Go Global Hub will host 7 events in total, with three main themes: Co-Creation, Problem-Solving, and Business Matching. Through these gatherings, we will deepen relationships among participants and drive the creation of new ventures.
Planned Events Include:
Cross-Border Startup Match Salon (2 sessions) – Co-creation networking to form cross-border teams(September 16・ October 27 2025)
Global Connector Salon (2 sessions) – Practical business matching between Japan-based startups and overseas corporations/VCs (November 10 ・ December 2025)
Reverse Connect Tokyo (2 sessions) – International co-creation starting from real-world challenges faced by Japanese companies and entrepreneurs(January February 2026)
Global Partner Matching (1 session, tentative title) – Large-scale, facilitated matching and connection event for entrepreneurs, founders, investors, and government officials (February 2026)

I help early-stage startups scale, fundraise, and go global.
As a founder of ZAIKO, a global ticketing and livestreaming platform, I spent over a decade building and scaling in Japan and across Asia. Now, I work with founders as a strategic advisor, fractional executive, helping teams turn big ideas into operating businesses.
My focus is on early-stage startups (Pre-Seed to Series A) in tech, education, F&B, and entertainment. I’ve advised or invested in companies such as 77hz, ZAIKO, and KA International, offering hands-on support in:
• Fundraising strategy & investor prep
• Product development & go-to-market
• Growth hacking & customer acquisition
• Cross-border expansion (Japan & SE Asia)
With over 20 years of experience across multiple industries and a global perspective on growth, I bring practical insight, deep networks, and operational expertise to every team I support.
